GEOGRAPHiC POSiTiON Facing the green hills around Siena, this is a medieval hamlet placed on a hilly and panoramic position 16 km away from Siena and one hour from the airport of Florence. DESCRiPTiON OF THE BUiLDiNGS The property is composed of a main villa with private chapel and refectory as well as seven additional farmhouses completing the village, for a total surface of 4,677 sqm. EXTERNAL AREA The estate includes 305 hectares of land, of which 260 ha are registered as private hunting reserve, where one can hunt boars, pheasants, hares and deers. The greatest surface is covered in woodland (230 ha) with a ten-year cutting plan. After that, 54 ha are covered in arable land (set-aside scheme) cultivated with durum wheat and alfalfa. The vineyard covers 13.5 hectares of land and is registered as Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG (11.2 ha), Colli Etruria Centrale DOC (0.8 ha) and Bianco Toscano iGT (1.5 ha). The oldest vineyard (3.3 ha) was planted in 1964 and needs replanting to become productive again. Current production ranges around 30,000 bottles per year (up to 90,000 by using the replant right for further 3 ha of vineyard). Finally, the olive grove covers 7.4 hectares of land for a total of roughly 2,000 trees. Varieties cultivated in the estate are Leccino (60%) and Frantoio (40%). Trees were planted between 1985 and 2000.
