Country house with wellness centre and restaurant located on the hills of Maremma, at the borders with Val d'Orcia. The 472 sq.m country house is distributed over 2 floors and is the heart of the accommodation business. It comprises a huge sitting hall with kitchen, an office, storage room, 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. Additionally there is an old farmhouse non-recoverable portions have been totally demolished to make space for the new house, while surviving sections have been restored and blended with the new building. The reconstruction followed typical Tuscan criteria, even though the building sits on reinforced-concrete foundations for increased stability. Internal finishes include handmade terracotta paving, travertine tiles and walls decorated with floral frescoes painted by a notable artist from Arezzo. The building is made out of stones and bricks, mimicking the original Tuscan buildings. Ceilings feature wooden beams and terracotta tiles, while the floors are made out of skid-proof materials. The 10 sq.m restaurant with professional kitchen was built based on a Tuscan old style country house. It can accommodate up to 24 guests and is equipped with a stereo system and internet connection. The outdoor veranda, with a telescoping cover, can accommodate 20 more guests and offers a view over the woodland surrounding the property. Outside is the 5000 sq.m garden with plants and bushes typical of the area, a swimming pool and a beautiful relax corner, set within the 24 hectare plot. Other features include solar panels, 2 parking lots and a charging station for electric vehicles.
