Wildlife hunting reserve located in the Tuscan-Lazio Maremma, exactly on the border between Tuscany and Lazio, in a very private and quiet location. Set on 756 hectares of forest, Mediterranean scrub and meadows that descend from the top of the mountains on the border with southern Tuscany to the Fiora River. The 410 sq.m renovated farmhouse is distributed over two floors and is currently divided into six apartments with 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The 5 apartments on the ground floor are intended for guests and the 6th apartment upstairs is inhabited by the owners. The farmhouse was originally used as a hunting lodge for big game drives in the surrounding mountains within the estate, converted in recent years into a hospitality business by the current owners. The building, although modified to make it usable for guests, retains its original layout with arches, carved fireplaces, wooden beams and terracotta floors. Outside is the garden with swimming pool. Near the farmhouse is the extreme volcanic apparatus that generated Lake Bolsena. Because of this, the soil, rich in quartz and located 100 m above sea level and 15 km from the coast, determines a unique and uncontaminated terroir, characterised by important temperature excursion between day and night, ideal for the cultivation of vineyards. In addition, the soils are very suitable for raising livestock and horses or other animals. The estate also includes a 75 sq.m old mining warehouse, a 55 sq.m agricultural warehouse with a canopy, and a 3000 sq.m shed used as shelter for cars and equipment.
