In a privileged position between the Marche and Umbria regions, a short distance from the Frasassi Caves, in the marvellous location of Sassoferrato rises the historic villa currently used as a receptive activity, composed of 12 elegant suites and 7 flats. The rooms, furnished respecting and enhancing the historic building, have all kinds of comforts; the flats, equipped with all services, are furnished with precious antique furniture. The kitchens, equipped with top-quality electrical appliances, are spacious and bright. The hotel flats can accommodate between 4 and 12 people. History: The Art Nouveau-style palace was built in 1911 by Dr. Luca Antonelli, resident in Rome and originally from Sassoferrato, as a holiday residence. The best materials available at the time were used in the construction, and in subsequent renovations an attempt was made to safeguard and recover these values as far as possible. The original 'Cotto Fiorentino' floors - The internal staircase, a true rarity, there we can find the origin of the name of our town 'Sassoferrato' (steps with iron cast in stone) - Ceilings all original from the 1900s - Ceiling frescoes in the rooms on the 1st floor (red-green and yellow) - Original 20th-century entrance doors and interior doors - Ceilings on the 2nd and top floor recovered the original and beautiful wooden beams and joists, as well as the completion tiles The level of finish of the renovation of the property is truly high, categorising it as a prestigious historical dwelling that at the same time has seen its historicity respected.
