The city is surrounded by mountains, such as Bèrnia, which are ideal for hiking. Don't miss the old town, which has a distinct medieval character: you will find buildings such as the 15th-century Constitución Market, Renaissance palaces, the neo-Gothic La Marina cathedral and Calle Desamparados, a street full of stately homes with wrought-iron gates.
