This property is located in a typical Auveergne village on the borders of Cezallier and the Sancy massif. Quiet but only 50km from the regional capital, it proudly display its historical origins with its beautiful carved stones. A coat of arms and low reliefs attest to its existence since the 17th century. It's local stone give it an undeniable charm reinforced by the presence of a wild river wich runs along the land of 4000m2 for more than 50m with a lovely grassy beach inviting you to rest.The house consists of two "L" shaped buildings. The property has in total eight rooms including five bedrooms. The oldest wing is accessed via a superb ornate door opening onto the large main room with thick stone walls, exposed beams, a fireplace with unusual dimensions and a staircase to the 1st floor. From this room, two steps lead down to the old barn where the feeding troughs are still present, as well as an authentic bread oven. This part is completed by a small room in use as a summer kitchen. On the same level there is an access to a large vaulted cellar with traces of an old dwelling. The very old floor is made up of beautiful pieces of wood weathered by time and assembled with wooden dowels. The walls are in natural stone and there is also a pretty fireplace. The newer wing runs along the main street of the village and can be accessed directly from the street. In this part there is a room currently used as a kitchen / living room with a staircase leading to two bedrooms on the 1st floor and a small bathroom. On the ground floor is a further large room in use as a living room in which there is a second staircase leading to another two bedrooms and a small bathroom.
