On from this area you face the impressive natural rock feature of the Penon de Socorro one of the rock outcrops Olvera is famous for , here it forms a rock garden , steps wind upwards through the rock to two terraced areas , the upper level giving fantastic views out over the countryside, the perfect spot to enjoy aflresco dining while watching the effects of the setting sun over the spectacular landscape of olive groves and distant rugged mountains .
