House buy in Pera Faro

This beautiful house has been my family home for the past 12 years and I couldn't have wished for anywhere more perfect to live. It's in a peaceful location in a quiet cul-de-sac at the Southernmost end of the village of Pera overlooking the dunes leading to Praia Grande, yet only 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car to the bustling town of Armacao de Pera where there are an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops and a pedestrianised sea front where it's lovely to walk. It's also 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car from the magnificent sandy Pera beach, Praia Grande. It's also very convenient (10 minutes by car) for Algarve Shopping, the A22 motorway, the EN125 and only half an hour from Faro airport. Built in 2005, the house is on three levels and boasts 4 bedrooms plus an office, or five bedrooms. There are also 4 bathrooms, which is ideal for a growing family who won't have to argue over who gets to use the bathroom first in the mornings! There is a large living room, cosy in winter with a log burning fireplace and enough space for a large dining table that comfortably seats 8 people. The kitchen is large enough for kitchen dancing if you feel inclined and there is a second kitchen/diner downstairs too. The large basement / garage has been converted into a great space to have friends and family round for a barbecue in the summer and chill out with drinks by the pool. There is an amazing sea view over Salgados from the rooms at the back of the house and from the front of the house you can see the sea at Armacao de Pera. There is plenty of space for bicycles or a motor bike, sun loungers and tools in the 'glory hole' tucked away behind a curtain at one end of the garage, as well plenty of understair cupboards, shelving and wardrobes in the garage and a larder cupboard off the kitchen. In addition, four out of the five bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. The house has air conditioning throughout, double glazing, mosquito nets, metal shutters, guttering, fibre optic internet, mains water/drainage and metered gas. The ouside space is small and therefore relatively low-maintenance which is great for a busy working family who don't have time to do much gardening, yet is still has a private swimming pool as well as space to sunbathe and sit outside. We're going to be very sorry to leave our beautiful home, but the family have grown up and left home and now there are only two of us who don't need so much space, although you can rest assured, we love Pera and won't be moving far!!
