This cute cottage is found in an idyllic setting, set back down a cobblestone back street in the quiet, peaceful hills within the village of Salir. Salir is part of the municipality of Loule, one of the largest and wealthiest councils of the Algarve as it includes the prestigious resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. Salir is about a 10 minute drive from the historic castle town of Loule down breathtaking country lanes with mountain views. The cottage is accessed via a wooden gate into a small courtyard style terrace with spectacular mountain views and an amazing area for sun bathing. The property is a white washed single storey cottage, semi detached with steps to the front porch and split level inside. Up a few steps the cottage has an open terrace which makes an outdoor shaded extension to the property, perfect to enjoy alfresco dining or reading in the shade. Inside the property through the glass front door, it opens to a small kitchen with fitted cupboards on two walls with an oven, fridge freezer and a good size hot water boiler. To the right is a shower room with WC and a small window to the front terrace. Up some steps is access to the principle bedroom, a good size room with a high window, purpose built storage and a feature stone wall. From the kitchen is access to a cozy lounge with a corner log burner with an opening to the kitchen and a picture window to the gorgeous front porch, one of the best features of the cottage we feel.
