Some of the location`s famous sights are the church of Agia Paraskevi, in a wooded ravine, on the site of an older Byzantine church that previously existed there and was destroyed. The remains of the older building still exist and have been incorporated into the new one, such as small parts of the Byzantine hagiographies with which the original church was decorated. The existence of these hagiographies help to date the first temple, probably before the 17th century.
