Already hundreds of years ago, the first people who settled here were looking for a safe but well exposed place, with lots of sun and a good view over the whole valley. They chose this location from which even the imposing Marmolada glacier and the Gardenaccia massif could be seen in the distance. More than seven hundred years later, it is you who discover and enjoy this magical place in the absolute peace and privacy of the Chalet. For Hildegard, the owner, it was essential to keep the Ladin tradition alive in her home. He spared no solutions or expenses to preserve and restore everything to its original state. The design of the house and also the furniture emphasize the historic style. Natural materials and colors harmonize with the original furniture and paneling. The guest is invited to actively participate in the family life of the farm, choosing the activities that excite him, from cooking to feeding the animals in the morning. Hildegard gives particular importance to the breakfast prepared with care, as you will notice from the products, all homemade, from jams, cakes, bacon and cheeses. A large hallway leads to the living area, passing the cloakroom and the daytime toilet. In the open kitchen, a delicious breakfast is prepared every morning and tea and cakes in the afternoon. For guests who have rented the entire house, the kitchen is, of course, always accessible. The original old living room across the hall has been restored with great attention to detail to its original state. Linen fabric cushions and curtains combined with an antique dresser and an old wedding trunk make the room warm and inviting. In this beautiful setting, tea is served in the morning and in the afternoon. In the adjacent room you will find the TV room with a large and comfortable sofa on which to relax. Free Wi-Fi connection throughout the house. A special corner is also the veranda adjacent to the kitchen, which can be used as a small separate room for breakfast or to play and relax together. From here, the view of the mountains and the valley below is breathtaking in any season.In the 5 rooms we have used the same natural materials everywhere that underline the unique and traditional style of the house. For the fabrics we have taken care to use those that have already covered the house for generations, loden and above all linen. In the family room on the second floor, the original antique wood paneling of the room has been maintained. The bathroom with large shower separates the large bedroom from the single bedroom. The sitting room is typical of an ancient courtyard, even the two double bedrooms in front are entirely covered in their original wood, which makes them warm and elegant and once upon a time. Two bright and spacious bedrooms are located on the upper floor and impress with their large bathrooms and high ceilings. We mention here that we have not been able to insert sound insulation everywhere in the historic walls, therefore some environments maintain a certain transmission of sound. More than noteworthy is the sauna. Here, too, we are really committed to preserving the old stone walls and centuries-old beams. The walls have been carefully refurbished and the lighting has been placed with great care. A unique place to relax, regenerate and switch off from the outside world.
