The villa was built for the present English owners some seven years ago to an exacting specification. The construction incorporated extra wire cages with stronger than normal steel. Large patio areas surround the swimming pool, which is at first floor level. A further large patio outside the ground floor incorporates flower beds. The attractive pool measures 10m x 5m and there are also a Jacuzzi and barbeque. Wrought iron gates provide access to the property at front and rear. LADIES BEACH Ladies Beach is ideal for those who like good food, enjoy sipping good wine and watching the most stunning sunsets. The sea front is totally pedestrianised, making this area clean and safe. The beautiful sandy beach has plenty of welcoming bars and restaurants and is perfect for families. KUSADASI The thriving town of Kusadasi is one of Turkey’s principal and most important tourist centres and offers an excellent environment for wonderful holidays for children and adults alike. It has a large attractive harbour and is a major port of call for many cruise liners. There are numerous sandy beaches offering a great variety of water and beach facilities. Water sports include windsurfing, water skiing and sailing. The town successfully combines its historic early days, retaining many interesting old buildings, with all the modern facilities expected by today’s residents and holiday makers. All the usual commercial facilities are there in abundance and the shopping facilities cater for every need and taste. The town has a lively night life, with bars, restaurants, clubs and discos. Many of the restaurants specialise in fresh fish and sea food and other Aegean delicacies. Pigeon Island, so called because of its bird like shape, occupies a strategic position just off the harbour and historically was used for military purposes. Its Byzantine castle was the focus of the population’s resistance to pirates. Kusadasi is also a centre for visiting the numerous important historical sites in the area, including Ephesus, Didyma, Priene and Miletos amongst others. KUSADASI INTERNATIONAL GOLF CLUB Kusadasi Golf Club is fully operational and boasts one of the finest scenic golf courses to be found anywhere! The course is superbly positioned on the crest of a hill, overlooking a green valley and the breath-taking Aegean Sea. The club is situated just outside the town of Kusadasi. Designed by José Canalez Mas Golf Uno Golf Design, the 18 holes Par 72 course has a length of 6393 metres and a surface area of 650,000 m² (160.6 acres). It is some 250 metres above sea level. Construction started in September 2009 and the course opened in May 2012. The course has been rated Green Section by the USGA. There are five tee positions for each hole on the course, which is suitable for golfers of all abilities, from high handicap players to scratch golfers. The course provides some challenging features, including 60 bunkers, two lakes and holes which cross gorges. Other facilities include a covered driving range, putting green, pitch and chip area, Professional’s shop, golf buggies and clubs for hire and a fine clubhouse. Lessons, clinics and a golf academy are all available. The clubhouse includes a lounge, restaurant with international cuisine, cocktail bar, reception area and an all round terrace for al fresco dining or just relaxing with drinks, whilst enjoying the wonderful panoramic views of the mountains and the spectacular sunsets over the Aegean Sea.
