In the heart of Mezzomerico, a small village surrounded by rolling hills with vineyards a few kilometers from Lake Maggiore, I propose an elegant 17th century farmhouse, a former convent with a compact structure that instils absolute privacy and tranquility. The skilful and refined renovation dating back to the 1990s was able to preserve and enhance its ancient value while maintaining the flavor and atmosphere that this historic residence deserves. On the ground floor the farmhouse welcomes us with a large living room with fireplace and adjoining dining room, a hallway where we find a storage room and a bathroom and from here we access the generously sized kitchen also with fireplace, which overlooks a lovely pleasantly furnished external porch.We go up to the upper floor via a comfortable helical staircase where the sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one with a large walk-in closet, the billiard room, another bedroom/study and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. ​
