THE NEIGHBOROOD In the 20s of the last century, the construction of the Bairro das Colónias began, becoming in 1975 the Quarter of the Novas Nações. The construction of the buildings would begin in the following decade, creating one of the best and most coherent Art Deco and modernist ensembles in Lisbon. Initially, it was proposed that the toponymy of the neighborhood pay homage to famous colonialists, opting, instead, for the names of the former Portuguese colonies. It is in the process of being classified by the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage (DGPC), and can be defined as either of National Interest or of Public Interest. It is located in the central area of the city, on one of its slopes, being served by all types of public transport, having a quick connection to the Airport through the Metro network. It has all kinds of stores, restaurants and hotels making this neighborhood very quiet, one of the most interesting residential neighborhoods of the city. THE APARTMENT Located on the 3rd floor of a building built in the 30s of the last century, the apartment has been totally renovated in its structure, electrical, water and sewage networks, being as new. Very bright, with unobstructed views over the courtyards and gardens of the rear area and main street.
