A lavish 11x5 meter pool area with an outside shower and separate bathroom and shower block, all fenced from the property's extensive olive grove consisting of 60+ trees, harvested every year. The Olive trees yield an average of One hundred litres of extra virgin olive oil. The olive grove has a license for movable structures (tents, teepees, caravans), which offers a fantastic extra income. The restaurant bar building is an already established business with excellent Google reviews. Equipped with a good-sized working kitchen. The recently renovated bar is quite stylish, can seat up to 40 diners per sitting, and has male and female bathrooms. This space has been used by the current owners hosting an artisan/local market once a month. Adjoined to the main house is a recently renovated annexe with another Portuguese cast iron log burner and en-suite bathroom containing an ultra-modern shower cabin with built-in radio and foot massager. The room next to this is a substantial traditional stone-built space that currently has ten bunkbeds, custom built as an "Albergue" (hostel), for pilgrims walking the Camino De Santiago Compostella as the property is only 300 meters from the trail as well as the Fatima trail (which is the second most visited destination in Portugal). The room also adjoins an additional outside bathroom for guests. Officially listed as an established stop in the official guidebook by the author John Brierly the Albergue is a popular place to stay. There is also a sizeable gravelled area next to the Albergue, ideal for motor homes or car parking. A few extra details: Central heating (oil operated), solar panels linked to the boiler system, an underground depository holding approximately 50,000 litres of water, a good-sized private balcony area, large gravelled courtyard with generous log storage, three storage rooms, a well (ideal for running a pump system if you were to grow your crops), fibre optic internet, utility room, a downstairs toilet with shower and another storage room that could be converted into a bedroom. Located in a very peaceful rural setting whilst sitting next to an access road with the small town of Alvaiazere just five minutes away. It has two supermarkets, a sports stadium, doctors, a pharmacy, a dentist, an osteopath, an excellent primary school, a petrol station, a large public indoor and outdoor pool, a gymnasium and various other cafes and restaurants. A family-run business/household for the past ten years that unfortunately had to close due to the pandemic. However, the property has been successfully rented throughout this time.
