What makes this particular F355 Challenge special – chassis 104295 – is its GT/C conversion by MasterCars S.r.l in 1996, which required a range of changes be made (including projector headlights and revised aero) in order to comply with FIA GT regulations. And when compared to the ‘standard’ F355 Challenge car, the differences are truly staggering! The car was road registered in Japan so comes with the necessary paperwork to U.K register the car if the proper conversions were to be made (Can be arranged at extra cost). Throughout his racing career, Arturo Merzario entered 85 Formula 1 races driving for teams including March, Wolf-Williams and Ferrari. After leaving Formula 1 in 1979, Merzario found success within sports car racing and even finished second in the 24hr Lemans race.
