Local towns of San Miguel de Salinas and Los Montesinos are only a short drive away and the lovely beaches of Guardamar, La Mata and Torrevieja are approx 20-30 mins away. The nearby beautiful lake of La Pedrera offers wonderful walking opportunities, and there are two outdoor activity centres offering archery, quad-biking, kayaking, horse-riding etc. Should you wish to soak up a bit more history and culture, the medieval town of Orihuela is only a 20 minute drive away, where you can explore the narrow streets, shops and walk up to the monastery.

 The nearby towns of San Miguel de Salinas, Los Montesinos, Torremendo, Jacarilla, Rojales, Benijófar and Torrevieja are also ideal places to visit, or if you venture further afield, Cartagena, Murcia and Alicante are great cities to explore.

 The wonderful beaches that make this coastline famous, such as Guardamar, La Mata, La Zenia, Campoamor, Mil Palmeras etc are all within about 20 minutes drive, so you will be spoilt for choice.

 The area is well-served by the international airports of Alicante and Murcia (Corvera) which are only about 40 minutes drive away.  A bus service runs daily to Orihuela and weekly to La Zenia.
