Almogía is a lovely town and municipality in the province of Málaga. It is situated approximately 25 km from the city of Málaga, has a population of approximately 4,300 residents and has an economy based on the cultivation of almonds and olives. The scenery is breath-taking and there are plenty or areas for walking, cycling and horse riding.Within the town there are shops, a chemist, primary and secondary school and a variety of bars and restaurants. A local market is held every Tuesday.Almogía is famous for a distinctive form of Spanish folklore called "Verdiales" and competitions are held in the month of December where bands compete.This lovely country property is located just off the main road before you get to the town with a solid driveway and main gates to the 6,572 m2 of full fenced land.
