Muu osta in Fonteblanda, Toscana
On this splendid spring day, accompanied by the singing of birds, our visit to the Pantanella farm allows us to live for a while in a bucolic context similar to those described by Jane Austin. We are located in the Maremma natural park, a few km from the sea and one of the most beautiful and intact coasts of the Maremma coast and at the foot of the Uccellina mountains covered in thick Mediterranean scrub where nature rules over man. And so while our gaze is lost in the hectares of land in the soft countryside we are about to visit the manor house, an aristocratic country residence on two levels with warehouses and storage rooms on the ground floor and the first or floor dedicated to the home. In the courtyard, in addition to the main building, we find 3 other buildings once used for agricultural and livestock farming, warehouses, chicken coops, pigsties, stables and barns which take us back in time and make us relive the past. The property includes approximately 31 hectares of which part is occupied by a vineyard for approximately 17,000 meters and 100 olive trees while the rest is currently used as arable land and by a forest of over 4 hectares separated from the property where the farmers once lived they supplied wood. The property would be well suited to becoming an accommodation facility in which to combine the production of oil, aromatic herbs and other agricultural products with special experiences in nature in one of the rural buildings or in other eco-sustainable solutions to be included in this area of particular beauty. Not to be underestimated is the presence of high salinity thermal waters underground which could extend the offer of a possible accommodation facility. Close your eyes and imagine yourself already here, you have decided to move to your new life and you have enriched the structure with antique wooden furniture, precious white porcelain objects, cushions and curtains in finely embroidered antique white cotton. Everything speaks of your love for this place from the lavender pots that you placed in ancient wineskins, to the iron lamps found in a second-hand shop and even the white bicycle with the large wicker basket with which you take long walks along the tree-lined avenues. In the morning after a restful sleep you wake up in your wrought iron bed which was once a gate and after having pulled back some ancient embroidered linen curtains you enjoy the panorama of the Maremma Natural Park, with the Uccellina mountains as a backdrop. Agritourism, charming B&B, educational farm, riding school or simply your country residence, there are countless possibilities for developing this property set in a context where the calm rhythm of the countryside dominates and not far from the sea, from the splendid art cities of the Tuscany and its naturalistic wonders.
