A beautiful old family home for sale at the edge of Gavalochori. You enter the property through a impressive arch and will find yourself in a typical open Cretan hallway, where you still can see the hooks where they flocked the animals. Going across the courtyard you will find the kitchen at the back at your right hand side. It still hosts the big bread oven with a big arch and a \'gourna\', for storing water. Alongside the kitchen there is an extra large room from where you can get into another kitchen. In the courtyard there is still the old \'sterna\', which provided water for the whole family. In order to keep the water clean they had ales in the water. This great traditional house was once the home of a family with 9 children. The grandchildren of the current owner are still using the house. The house would need some refurbishing and but is habitable as it is.
