The 3 series was completely rebuilt in 2014 by Gugielmi Motorsport,who used a 320i body shell and replaced the bodywork with fibreglass front wings,rear quarter panels,bonnet,boot,front and rear aprons and reskinned doors as well as a carbonfibre rear wing. The car now weighs approximately 950kg and is powered by an ex-works 2.5 litre SCHNITZER eight-injector S14 DTM engine with slide throttles,which produces around 340 BHP (april 90 Nr 9) It has a manual five speed dog leg transmission The car has been resprayed in a shade of light blue with a light grey interior The stripped out interior features a brake bias adjuster and a plumbed in fire extinquisher as well as two Sparco Evo race seats which are fitted with red harnesses and a Custom Cages full roll cage Koni adjustable dampers are fitted to the front end and the rear suspension has been replaced with Nitron three-way adjustable dampers The bonnet and boot lid are both fitted with quick-release pins The paint work is in excellent condition with only a minor 5mm long faint scratch to the offside front wing The alloy wheels are in good condition with no imperfections The interior is in good condition which was completely resrayed along with the body shell prior to the engine,fuel tank,body panels etc fitted The most rescent routine maintenance was carried in 2018 by Gugielmi Motorsport who performed a engine oil change,nut and bolt check and a general check over with no mechanical or electrical faults reported I have owned the car from its inception and have only used it on 6/7 track days,it has been garaged since my ownership and now is time to move it on to a new owner to use on a more frequent basis
