Property Details: Noble estate with adjoining castle dating from the mid-fourteenth century and deconsecrated church. The property belonged to the noble family of Leonardi is inserted in an area of 24,850 square meters within which there are a number of buildings for a total of 4,775 square meters including: The beautiful house, the deconsecrated church, the stable, the servants' quarters, the castle, and two portions of the property completely renovated with marble finishes, we also find a pond and a beautiful park planted. Above the main door is still visible the seat of the "bolzone" (beam to move the drawbridge). The eye sees a flight of four red brick arches, because behind this first building there is a second one, whose lower wall is authentic, while the elevation was made in a later period, when many houses of the complex were rearranged. On the right of the entrance tower you can see the northern wall of a castle building, where it is evident the ancient guard path with the lowered arch openings, similar to those of the castle of Casalgiate and Ponzana. Below, an authentic terracotta cordon marks the beginning of the scarp of the wall, which descended towards the ditch; at mid-height a series of small windows - very similar to those visible on the northern side of the castle of Cameriano - gave light to the ancient rooms of the second floor. The large terracotta windows are difficult to date, but seem to be of fairly recent manufacture. The construction probably dates back to the middle of the 14th century. The castrum must have been very large, and it is still marked by the wall that encloses the buildings and the vast park; of the ancient castrum almost nothing has remained except for a series of rustic houses on the eastern side, which may date back to the sixteenth century. Instead, to the north, just in front of the current access gate, there are some important remains of the fortress, documented in the fifteenth century. The property lends itself to the establishment of high catering activities, wellness centers, private clinics or simply become the place where you can live with your family and carry out their work in complete tranquility.
