GINETTA G32 1989 – SPRINT & HILLCLIMB CAR FOR SALE Vince Hawtree bought the G32 new in 1989. It came with a square steel chassis, bolted to a fibreglass body and fitted out with Ford Fiesta XR2 engine, running gear in the rear, steel doors & interior. Vince proceeded to comprehensively modify it over the years, with an approved roll cage and extra strengthening & fibreglass doors. It ended up as a Ginetta Club Hillclimb winner in 96 & 98 and the subject of a Cars & Conversions Test in Jun 95 and write-up, having won the C&CC Hillclimb Championship in ‘94. In 2011 he fully modified and rebuilt/refurbished the chassis, body and engine with a MSA Logbook. Vince retired from Competition in 2013. In 2018, I bought and re-commissioned the car and running gear extensively. A very competitive Sprint & Hillclimb car: Shelsley Walsh a 34.77; Loton Park a damp 63.23; Gurston Down a 38.3; Wiscombe a 45.59; Castle Combe Dick Mayo 71.3.
