Restored in 1990/1 to a very high standard by an MG marque specialist, to the specification of the 1960 works team ‘Sebring Deluxe’ cars, including 4-wheel disc brakes. The engine is an MG Motorsport 1850cc full race unit with approx. 4hrs run time. Fitted with steel crank, Arrow rods, forged pistons & new Vulcan full race cylinder head, producing 129bhp at the wheels, approx. 160bhp at the flywheel on twin 1 3/4" H6 Carburettors. Fitted with a lightweight high torque starter motor. The specification also includes: - Straight cut close ratio gearbox, differential, axle & half shafts, recently rebuilt by Hardy Engineering. - New Radteck alloy radiator - Special Realm alloy peg drive wheels, including a spare. All fitted with good used Dunlop 550L Racing Tyres. - Rear roll cage with diagonal bar. - Period looking Stack rev-counter & rev-limiter - Recent harnesses for both high back Sparco race seats - Leather rimmed sports steering wheel.
