Coconut Island is home to a small Thai fishing community and is very safe and secure. There is a small fishing village within a 10 minute walk along the beach, this is the only shop on the island and you can by Thai food and a coffee. However, even though you are on a secluded beach the amazing thing about this property is that you about 20 minutes from all major facilities. By boat it is only 10 minutes (Approx. 500 meters to Phuket) to the Ao Por Pier and from the pier it is about 10 minutes to the British Curriculum International School, and 15 minutes to international hospitals, shopping centres, cinema, world class golf courses, tennis courses, diving, sailing and upscale bars and restaurants.
