This rural hamlet is set is a very quiet location on the hills of Florence, not far from the towns of Rufina and Pontassieve. Restored over the last few years, the property can count on several rustic apartments (875 sqm and 11 bedrooms in total) to welcome its guests. Outdoor spaces include a beautiful garden (4,500 sqm), a swimming pool and a huge olive grove (roughly 4.5 ha). The property dates back to the 12th century and was originally a castle owned by a noble merchant family of Florence. The hamlet is marked by paved walkways leading to a 4,500-sqm garden located just beyond a small paved square. Here one can find the 12 × 6 m swimming pool with a stone-and-grass sunbathing area. This space is very suitable to install gazebos and canopied, converting the area into a very cozy and welcoming event venue. The remaining surface includes a huge olive grove (roughly 4.5 hectares) that would allow producing excellent extra-virgin olive oil. The rest of the property is made up of woodland (8.0 ha) and arable land (1.2 ha) suitable for different crops.
