The kitchen and living area occupy the ground floor. Both levels have big balconies which offer the most incredible views, to both the sea and the lake. The separate space can be accessed from the pool level and provides 2 additional bedrooms, a bathroom and an extra kitchen and dining area! The outdoor space has been fully taken advantage of with a big garden, outdoor furniture, sunbeds and a BBQ. Walking around the 3.000 sq.m garden of the house you will encounter various trees such as olive trees, orange trees, a tangerine tree and a pomegranate tree just to name a few and all these delicious fresh fruits are provided to the guests for free. THE AREA The location of the house is very convenient as it is \'away from it all\' but at the same time just a breath away from beaches, bars, restaurants and generally all amenities. The villa is only 1.5 km away from the main highway of the island thus offering quick and easy access to the whole island. The popular resort of Georgioupolis with its river and the famous longest sandy beach in Crete (about 7-8 km) provides a vast variety of restaurants, a bank and ATM, super markets tourist offices and doctors. The unique lake of Kournas is only 1.5 km away -walkable distance-where many tavernas offer the chance to explore the traditional Cretan cuisine and the visitors can also go around the lake, whose depth is still unknown, by paddle boats. The airport of Chania is 48 km away while the port of Souda is 33 km. The city of Rethymno is only 23 km away and Chania 41 km.
