Barrio Santiago is a gastronomic, residential and commercial center located in the heart of Mexico, in one of the most emblematic historical metropolises of the country: the city of Querétaro. It is located on Calzada de los Arcos, in front of the aqueduct, an iconic construction of this city and inside the Ex Hacienda Carretas. The Ex Hacienda Carretas was founded in the 16th century and gets its name from the fact that in 1547 Fray Sebastián de Aparicio established an intermediate whereabouts for his carts, in which they transported silver from the minerals of Zacatecas, to be smelted in Mexico City, being part of the historic Camino Real de Tierradentro
