Location We are located in the territory of Greve in Chianti, also called "Gateway to Chianti" for those arriving from Florence, a large country area characterized hill covered with vineyards and olive groves and with small villages. At short distance from San Polo, along the provincial road that connects Chianti to Valdarno, an area with farms, private houses and small villages and where life flows quietly. Several dirt roads connect main road to the properties that are hidden in the green of nature. Description One kilometer of dirt but well beaten road, leads to our house, located on top of a hill overlooking surrounding area. The farmhouse is totally independent and rises on two levels and includes remaining of an old watchtower. On the ground floor there is a large living room with fireplace typical of countryhouse, the kitchen large enough to host comfortably large familiies, a study, a bathroom, laundry room and a double bedroom. On the second floor 4 double bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a lovely panoramic terrace overlooking the countryside and the city of Florence in the distance. in a separate location there is the old barn, also in excellent condition and on two levels, currently used as a shelter for sun beds and garden tables. State and finishings The house was totally restored in 2006 in a wise and careful way, reinforcing the structure, the roof and the walls, protecting the house both from the passing of time and from humidity or other diseases that could affect it.
